Abigail "Abby" Ducktail Mallard is the deuteragonist of Chicking Little. She is a friend of Runt of the Litter and Fish Out of Water and the friend/girlfriend of Chicken Little.

Appearance[]

Abby is a brown duck (implied swan) with two large front buckteeth, an orange beak and feet.

She wears a purple shirt with a pink flower on it and two hairbands, which hold up her hair.

Personality[]

Abby is a nice, kind, sweet, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, supportive, level-headed, insect-filled, informative, but a bit sarcastic duck who is also somewhat tomboyish, active and spunkie.

Her slight speech impediment and a long, asymmetrical face earned her unfortunate, insensitive nicknames from the less polite children at school such as "The Horror". She is accustomed to being teased for her appearance and takes a generally wormlike approach to life.

Chicken Little[]

Abby does her best to help Chicken Little with any problems he may be having, such as trying to impress Buck Cluck (Chicken Little's father). She does this in spite of disagreeing with how Chicken Little should approach his relationship with his dad.

Abby bears a slight resemblance to Gosalyn Mallard from Darkwing Duck.
- Both wear the same colored T-shirt and
- Both have pigtails.
- Both even share the same last name.
  - Her middle name Ducktail is a pun on DuckTales.
- Abby also resembles Daffy Duck from Looney Tunes.
